Badger Hollow Wind
The Badger Hollow Wind Energy Center in Iowa and Grant counties, Wisconsin, will generate clean, American-made energy to meet the nation's growing electricity demand. This project will capture the superior wind resource in Wisconsin to deliver efficient, reliable, low-cost energy to the surrounding communities.
THE PROJECT
The proposed project is located west of the city of Dodgeville, southwest of the junction of US Highway 18 and County Road Q.
Badger Hollow Wind expects to employ up to 140 local and regional workers during construction of current and future phases, and create approximately 4 permanent operations and maintenance (O&M) jobs in and around Iowa and Grant Counties
Badger Hollow Wind would provide up to $64 million in local taxes, land, and lease payments to the surrounding communities throughout the life of the project, leading to impactful social and economic benefits in the area.
Iowa and Grant County and their local townships will continually benefit through additional funding to local infrastructure, Fire and EMS services, school districts, community partnerships, and more.
